Sustainable Places is the only annual international conference focused on showcasing results of EU projects on innovation for the built environment. The 8th edition, Sustainable Places 2020 (27-30 October 2020), will be held over four days in virtual format to facilitate thematic presentations and fruitful discussion on topics such as circular economy, digital twins, BIPV, local energy communities, sustainable digital infrastructure, etc.
Sustainability targets and climate change objectives cannot be met without addressing buildings and the built environment at the building, district and urban scale to include our transport and energy infrastructures.
