Energy Agency for Southeast Sweden were established in 1999 and acts in the provinces of Kalmar, Kronoberg and Blekinge in Sweden. Its aims are energy effiency and increase in renewable energy sources, such as wind, solar and biomass. ESS's activities will cover the energy use for industry, urban districts and domiciles in the following ranges:

• energy for heating,
• energy for lighting and engines and
• energy for transportation.

Target audience: Industry, municipalities and offices.
